Be ready for the next stage of interactive video. The Nike Jordan brand launches Chris Paul’s newest shoe, the CP3.V with this live action street court. Chris’s pace and game skills turn the situation into chaos and you can circle the action in a near 180-degree arc.
See the teaser above and check out Quick Controls Chaos. This vivid experience matches and extends what the Philips Caroussel did almost three years ago.
17 Epic Red cameras captured the footage and over 100 streaming videos are swapped out on the fly as you change angles and speeds. Additionally, you can find out why the cook is on fire or a policeman rides spontaneously onto the field.

Canadian band ‘Arcade Fire’ have relaunched their hit ‘Sprawl’ in an interactive dance-in-front-of-your-webcam version. Send your little sister or colleagues out of the room and steer the zombie-like creatures with your hands and body.
You can start busting a web move on their website Sprawl 2. Below is the regular music video in case you want to memorise some routines first.
I like the immediacy of interacting ‘Kinect’-style. But to be honest, a bit more feedback (e.g. seeing myself, like you do in a Skype call) would have helped to control what I was doing. The interactive producers AATOAA describe it thus:
“The idea is to affect the pacing of the film with your movements. You are invited to dance in front of your webcam. There is no specific rules, no complicated “minority report” tricks. Just an invitation to move your arms or your butt on the music. The quicker you move, the faster the frames play. You slow down, the characters in the video slow down.”

3.2 million ink dots. Fascinating “making of” an illustrated portrait by Miguel Endara. I love the idea of a video storytelling piece to celebrate the oldest form of art. No special effects, no computer graphics, only plain, simple and poetic ink. Inspiring.

Your Business Card is Crap
As egotistical as this guy may appear, he does have a point. Issuing your customer a plain ol’ business card never sticks in their mind, and may end up in the trash or outside somewhere on the ground. Unique business cards are most definitely more memorable to customers than plain ones. So it would be a good idea to keep this in mind when brainstorming / designing your business cards.
